Football Recap: Eaglecrest Raptors vs. Denver East Angels
While Eaglecrest put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Denver East. The Raptors simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Angels 43-0. Given the Raptors' advantage in MaxPreps' Colorado football rankings (they are ranked 26th, while the Angels are ranked 96th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
William Brinkman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 72 yards and one TD, while also throwing for 148 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Jack Steiner was Brinkman's top target, picking up 31 receiving yards and a pair of scores.
