Basketball Recap: Glades Day Takes a Loss

Glades Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 81-57 to the Boca Raton Christian Blazers. The match was a 35-35 toss-up at halftime, but the Gators couldn't quite close it out.

Joshua Good continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Boca Raton Christian, going 14 of 20 on his way to 38 points along with eight boards and five steals. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Good has scored at least a third of Boca Raton Christian's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Jeemias, who went 7 of 16 en route to 19 points and three steals.

Glades Day's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Boca Raton Christian, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Glades Day will venture away from home to face off against Pahokee at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Boca Raton Christian, they will host Dreyfoos School of the Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
