Presbyterian Christian blew Greene County out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Saturday Greene County got their revenge. The Presbyterian Christian Bobcats fell just short of the Greene County Wildcats by a score of 61-58. The Bobcats' loss signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Leading Greene County to victory were Jase Matthews and Julaine Graves. Matthews almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine assists, while Graves went 6 of 12 on his way to 17 points. That's the most assists Matthews has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Sidney Jackson, who posted five points.

Presbyterian Christian's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3. As for Greene County, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Presbyterian Christian Bobcats duke it out with the Morton Panthers on Friday. One thing working in Presbyterian Christian's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matches. As for Greene County, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Bay at 7:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
