Basketball Game Preview: Health Sciences Serpents vs. Preuss UCSD Tritons

The Health Sciences Serpents will face off against the Preuss UCSD Tritons at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Thursday, Health Sciences took a blow against O'Farrell Charter, falling 71-28. The Serpents have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Preuss UCSD was beaten by Maranatha Christian 76-31 on Monday. The Tritons haven't had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Health Sciences' defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Preuss UCSD, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.

Everything came up roses for Health Sciences against Preuss UCSD in their previous meeting back in February of 2023, as the squad secured a 101-34 win. Will the Serpents repeat their success, or do the Tritons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
