Softball Recap: Osceola Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Winter Springs, Osceola was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They won by a run and slipped past the Eau Gallie Commodores 6-5. For the Kowboys, this counts as revenge for the 14-0 win the Commodores walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2018.

Faith Ferrer was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in February. The team also got some help courtesy of Samanthalea Edwards, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI.

Osceola's record is now 10-5. As for Eau Gallie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Osceola will host Celebration at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Eau Gallie, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against St. Mary's at 6:00 p.m.
