Football Recap: Monroe Piles Up the Points Against Willamette

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Eugene, Monroe was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 41-0 victory over the Willamette Wolverines. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Dragons' offense, which had struggled in the games prior.

Monroe's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Willamette, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Looking ahead, Monroe will face off against Sheldon at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Willamette, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Marist at 7:00 p.m. on May 1.
