Bentley had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Monday. They put the hurt on the Genesee Wolves with a sharp 19-9 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bentley's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.6 runs over those games. As for Genesee, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Coming up, Bentley will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Vassar at 4:00 p.m. Genesee will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' game: after the Bulldogs face off against the Vulcans, they'll take on Genesee again at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday.
