Baseball Recap: Jupiter Finds Playoff Glory Versus Harmony

Jupiter extended their postseason success on Thursday against Harmony. They walked away with a 13-9 victory over the Longhorns. This was a revenge game for the Warriors: when they faced off against the Longhorns on Wednesday, they had to take a 13-4 defeat.

Griffin Miller was incredible, firing off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 2-for-4. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Brady Blanks was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Jupiter lost a few balls and finished the game with three home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Jupiter is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.1 runs over those games. As for Harmony, their loss ended a 15-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 24-7.

Jupiter will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Longhorns: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
