Soccer Recap: Shasta Charter Academy Comes Up Short

Shasta Charter Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 5-2 to the Paradise Bobcats. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Grizzlies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in January.

Cyrus Helbling and Tristan Gifford scored both of Shasta Charter Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.

Shasta Charter Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Paradise, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-10-1.

Shasta Charter Academy will head out to challenge Los Molinos at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. Paradise has already played their next contest (against Willows), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
