Softball Game Preview: Oak Hill Oaks vs. South Gallia Rebels

For the first time this season, Oak Hill will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will head out to challenge the South Gallia Rebels at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Oak Hill came up short against Southeastern on Tuesday, falling 24-3.

Oak Hill saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bristol Stickley, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, South Gallia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-7 to Chesapeake.

Oak Hill took their win against South Gallia in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 22-5 score. Do the Oaks have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Rebels turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
