Softball Recap: Lynn Makes It Five in a Row at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Lynn had no problem doing just that on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-4 win over the Vina Red Devils. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bears have posted since April 30, 2024.

Lynn's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-13-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Vina, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-20.

Lynn has already played their next matchup, a 14-4 defeat against Hackleburg on the 29th. Hopefully Vina paid attention to the Bears' contest: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Bears on Tuesday.
