Soccer Game Preview: Chaparral vs. Midlothian

The Chaparral Bobcats will square off against the Midlothian Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaparral is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Chaparral fell victim to Bowie and their airtight defense on Friday. They fell just short of the Bulldawgs by a score of 1-0. While losing is never fun, Chaparral can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 324th, while Bowie are ranked 35th).

Meanwhile, Midlothian didn't have quite enough to beat Grapevine on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Dylan Cruthers wasn't going to let the Mustangs walk away unscathed as he scored both of the Panthers' goals, bringing his season total up to 13 goals.

Chaparral's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7-5. As for Midlothian, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7-4.
