            Baseball Recap: Riverview Sarasota Rams vs. Parrish Community Bulls        
        
		
        
        
            After flying high against Mariner  last Tuesday, Riverview Sarasota came back down to earth. The Rams fell just short of the Parrish Community Bulls by a score of  7-6 on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulls this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  7-4  back in March.
 Riverview Sarasota saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Alastair Simonson, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.  Caiden Cabral was another,  going 1-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
Riverview Sarasota has  been struggling recently as they've  lost ten of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-16 record  this season. As for Parrish Community, they pushed their record up to 16-4 with the  win, which was their 12th straight  at home dating back to last season.
 Looking ahead, Riverview Sarasota will square off against Venice at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Indians will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  victory, something the Rams surely won't give up without a fight. As for Parrish Community, they will face off against Spoto at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Spartans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.86  runs per game on average), something the Bulls will no doubt try to take advantage of.
