Basketball Game Recap: East Lansing vs. Grand Ledge

After flying high against Everett on Tuesday, the Grand Ledge Comets came back down to earth. Grand Ledge was dealt a punishing 76-40 loss at the hands of the East Lansing Trojans on Friday. The Comets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The loss dropped the Comets back to even at 9-9. The victory -- their 12th in a row -- raised East Lansing's record to 17-1.

Grand Ledge will square off against DeWitt on Tuesday. Grand Ledge is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. East Lansing is on the road again on Tuesday and plays against Heritage. East Lansing won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.
