Recap: Syracuse Titans vs. Box Elder Bees
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Olympus, the Syracuse Titans were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 65-46 win over Box Elder. That's another feather in the cap for Syracuse, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Syracuse's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jake Hopkins, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds. Logan Goddard was another key contributor, scoring 10 points.
Syracuse is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Box Elder, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Syracuse is on the road again on Thursday and play against American Fork at 7:00 p.m. on December 14th. As for Box Elder, they will challenge Mountain Crest at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Mountain Crest presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Box Elder in Utah (Mountain Crest is ranked 27th, while Box Elder is ranked 121st).
