Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Bowie). They put the hurt on the Lamar Vikings with a sharp 24-13 win on Tuesday. The victory continues a trend for the Volunteers in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Bowie's win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-6. As for Lamar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Bowie will challenge South Grand Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th. South Grand Prairie will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Bowie surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lamar, they will face off against Grand Prairie at 6:00 p.m. on March 25th.
