Baseball Game Preview: Hamilton Huskies vs. Perry Pumas

For the second straight game, Hamilton will face off against Perry. Hamilton will welcome Perry at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.

Hamilton is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Perry, who was ranked second at the time (Hamilton was ranked fifth). Hamilton fell just short of Perry by a score of 12-11 on Monday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

For Perry's part, they got a massive performance out of Luke Calendo, who went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. Those four hits gave Calendo a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Andrew Hover, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances.

Perry was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .308 or higher in 12 consecutive contests.

Perry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2 record this season. Hamilton's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5.
