Football Game Preview: Davie vs. Jesse Carson

Davie will look to defend their home turf on Wednesday against Jesse Carson at 7:30 PM. Davie have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.

Davie might have drawn first blood against West Rowan last week, but it was West Rowan who got the last laugh. Davie came up short against West Rowan, falling 31-38. The defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of freshman Tate Carney, who picked up 132 yards on the ground, and junior Josh Robinson, who rushed for 78 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Jesse Carson found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-26 punch to the gut against North Rowan.
