Preview: Nutley Maroon Raiders vs. West Orange Mountaineers
The Nutley Maroon Raiders will head out on the road to take on the West Orange Mountaineers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Saturday, Nutley came up short against Fort Lee and fell 52-43. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Nutley has scored all season.
Meanwhile, West Orange's 14-7 record from last season is now well into the rear view mirror after another tough outing. They took a 53-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Passaic on Saturday.
Nutley's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for West Orange, their loss dropped their record down to 2-9.
Nutley and West Orange were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but Nutley came up empty-handed after a 53-52 defeat. Can Nutley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
