Baseball Recap: Quakertown Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Quakertown never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials by a score of 5-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Quakertown got a great performance from Maccen Probition as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Probition is becoming a predictor of the Panthers' success: when he allows at most one hit the team is undefeated (and 2-4 when he doesn't).

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Carter Tucholski, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Cole Reich was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run and one double.

The victory was the third in a row for Quakertown, bringing their record up to 7-4. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Plymouth Whitemarsh, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Quakertown will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Colonials: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
