The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Knights' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Cougars are ranked 204th).
Steele's victory bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Canyon, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 17-9 record this season.
