Soccer Recap: Eaglecrest Comes Up Short

Eaglecrest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Horizon Hawks, falling 4-1. Eaglecrest were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Horizon apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Eaglecrest's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Horizon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eaglecrest will square off against Prairie View at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Horizon, they will challenge Brighton at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Horizon will be up against Brighton's rather soft defense (which has allowed 4.5 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
