Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Benton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. The contest between the Panthers and the Greenwood Bulldogs didn't end well, with the Panthers falling 63-45. The Panthers' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Greenwood had a senior duo take command as Kane Archer rushed for 135 yards and two scores while picking up 7.5 yards per carry and Champ Davis gained 229 total yards and five touchdowns. Cooper Bland did his part for the team as well, scoring a TD off of 94 receiving yards.

Benton's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Greenwood, their record now sits at 12-0.
