Baseball Recap: Traip Comes Up Short

Waynflete hit Traip with a four-run second inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Rangers came up short against the Flyers, falling 12-1. The defeat continues a trend for the Rangers in their meetings with the Flyers: they've now lost four in a row.

Traip saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chris Balano, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.

Traip's record is now 0-4. As for Waynflete, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Traip and Waynflete will both be playing Sacopee Valley the next time they take the field. The Rangers will host the Hawks at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Flyers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
