It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Madison Dodgers had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 38-26. The victory was familiar territory for Madison who now have six in a row.
Jefferson Township's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Cassidy Ball, who scored 21 points along with five rebounds, and Grace Weihmiller who scored three points along with eight rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Ball has scored all season.
Madison has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season. As for Jefferson Township, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 24-5.
Madison is on the road again on Saturday and plays Manasquan on March 9th. Manasquan will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Madison surely won't give up without a fight. Jefferson Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
