The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks fell just short of the Vista Murrieta Broncos by a score of 3-2. The Nighthawks haven't had much luck with the Broncos recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Murrieta Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Vista Murrieta, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3-3.

Murrieta Valley is facing Chaparral at the right time seeing as Chaparral is stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Vista Murrieta, they will challenge Murrieta Mesa at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Vista Murrieta is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.9 goals per game this season.
