Basketball Recap: Monday's Victory Is Arcanum's Fourth in Last Five Outings

Northmont came into Monday's game looking for another win against Arcanum, but Caroline Long wouldn't allow it. The Arcanum Trojans skirted past the Northmont Thunderbolts 46-44 thanks in part to Long, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten boards. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games she's played.

Arcanum is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.6 points per game. As for Northmont, they dropped their record down to 2-17 with the loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
