Basketball Recap: Central Crossing Comes Up Short

Central Crossing lost against Grove City back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Central Crossing Comets fell 55-43 to the Grove City Greyhounds.

Grove City got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Demitri Adado out in front who posted 21 points. Jacob Saxton was another key player, putting up 14 points.

Central Crossing has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Grove City, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.

Central Crossing and Grove City could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Central Crossing will face off against Upper Arlington at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday down 442 places (520 vs. 78). Similarly, Grove City (ranked 390th) will meet Hilliard Darby (ranked 53rd) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
