Owen County had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Calvary Christian Cougars by a score of 7-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Rebels also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Owen County's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Calvary Christian, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 6-2 record.
