Soccer Recap: Orangewood Christian Comes Up Short

After flying high against All Saints' Academy last Tuesday, Orangewood Christian came back down to earth. The Orangewood Christian Rams fell just short of the Bishop Moore Hornets by a score of 3-2 on Friday. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Orangewood Christian's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-2. As for Bishop Moore, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Orangewood Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Windermere Prep at 7:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Bishop Moore will take on Mulberry in a holiday battle at at 8:00 p.m. on December 20th.
