Baseball Game Preview: Soda Springs Cardinals vs. West Jefferson Panthers

Soda Springs is a perfect 3-0 against West Jefferson since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Cardinals will welcome the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Malad hit Soda Springs with a four-run sixth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Cardinals came up short against the Dragons, falling 14-4. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Soda Springs saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Will McCullough, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Meanwhile, West Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 16-1 to Salmon.

Soda Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 6-8-1. As for West Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.
