Highland put another one in the bag on Sunday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 42-37 W against the Twinsburg Tigers. Given the Hornets' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 15th, while the Tigers are ranked 68th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Twinsburg's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Kayla Cellura, who posted 12 points and three blocks, and Jaci Hutton, who put up 11 points and six rebounds. That's the most blocks Cellura has posted since back in February of 2024.

Highland's victory was their 12th straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-0. As for Twinsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-6.

Coming up, Highland will take on Harvey at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Twinsburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 42-37 loss against Wadsworth on the 11th.
