Softball Game Preview: Fairdale Bulldogs vs. North Hardin Trojans

The Fairdale Bulldogs will take on the North Hardin Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Fairdale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.6 runs per game this season.

Fairdale's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They came out on top against John Hardin by a score of 4-0. Fairdale hasn't had any issues with John Hardin recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Paige Tingle made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks in eight consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in March.

Five must be North Hardin's lucky number: they beat Hart County with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Trojans walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Raiders. Winning may never get old, but the Trojans sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Fairdale's win bumped their record up to 8-14. As for North Hardin, their victory bumped their record up to 18-12.
