A feisty cat fight will be fought as McNairy Central Bobcats face off against Riverside Panthers at 6:20 p.m. on Thursday. McNairy Central's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Riverside's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

McNairy Central barely beat Booneville the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Everything went McNairy Central's way against Booneville on Tuesday as McNairy Central made off with a 7-1 win. The matchup marked the Bobcats' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Case Stone spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered a run (which was unearned) on four hits and racked up six Ks. Furthermore, he didn't allow a single walk, the first time he has blanked an opponent since back in April of 2024.
