Hillside has been on a difficult stretch since their win on August 29. They lost 9-0 to the Riverside-Durham Pirates on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Hillside can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 364th, while Riverside-Durham are ranked 121st).

Hillside's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14-2. As for Riverside-Durham, they now have a winning record of 7-6-4.
