Football Recap: Marcus Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 31 points the game before, Marcus was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They took a 7-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Arlington Colts. The Marauders were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Colts apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Marcus' loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Arlington, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Marcus and Arlington should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Texas Rankings. The Marauders (ranked 95th) will meet Pearce (ranked 273rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Arlington will face off against Weatherford at 7:00 p.m. on Friday with a big rank advantage (170 vs. 355).
