Soccer Recap: Thursday's Win Is Somerset Academy's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cypress Bay, Somerset Academy was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the South Broward Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.

Ella Provost-Heron and Arianna Peck scored all three of Somerset Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 34 goals.

Somerset Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for South Broward, their loss dropped their record down to 10-3-1.

Both are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Somerset Academy has already played their next contest (against Mourning), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. South Broward will face off against South Plantation at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. South Broward is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.4 goals per game this season.
