It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Elma ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 34-28 victory over the Black Hills Wolves. A big part of Elma's win came down to the chemistry between Isaac McGaffey and his top target Colt Landstrom. McGaffey threw for 238 yards and five touchdowns while Landstrom picked up 179 receiving yards and four scores. With that strong performance, Landstrom is now averaging an impressive 107.7 receiving yards per game.

With the victory, Elma broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5. As for Black Hills, this is the second loss in a row for them and also nudges their season record down to 2-5.
