Having just played yesterday, the Dixie Heights Colonels will get right back to it and host the Conner Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Dixie Heights' favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Conner has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

On Thursday, Dixie Heights came up short against St. Ursula Academy and fell 67-58. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Colonels came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 14th in Kentucky, while the Bulldogs are ranked 205th in Ohio).

Meanwhile, Conner came up short against Campbell County on Tuesday, falling 64-43.

Dixie Heights' defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Conner, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
