Volleyball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Augusta Prep Cavaliers.

Johnson was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-23.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Augusta Prep, their win ended a four-match drought at home and bumped them up to 14-13.

Johnson has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Alleluia Community on the 27th. As for Augusta Prep, they will take on Wardlaw Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
