If East Stroudsburg North wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Liberty, they should've done a better job of containing Eva Madeira. The Hurricanes blew past the Timberwolves 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Madeira, who had ten digs and eight aces. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Liberty took every set by at least 12 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-13, 25-13.

With the victory, Liberty broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-7-2. As for East Stroudsburg North, their loss dropped their record down to 0-10.

Looking ahead, Liberty will be playing in front of their home fans against Northampton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Stroudsburg North, they will head out on the road to challenge Pocono Mountain West at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
