Soccer Recap: North Oconee's Higher State Rank on Full Display on Tuesday

With a playoff win on the line, North Oconee rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They never let Northview get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering North Oconee's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 22nd, while Northview is ranked 92nd).

The win made it two in a row for North Oconee and bumps their season record up to 15-3. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two matches. As for Northview, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

As of now, neither North Oconee nor Northview have any future games scheduled.
