Ottawa hasn't had much luck against Eudora recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Cyclones will look to defend their home field against the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. Ottawa is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Abby Toumberlin, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. She also put up a run, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Ainsly Michel, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: Ottawa lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Eudora put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They were the clear victors by a 15-2 margin over Wellsville. That looming 15-2 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cardinals yet this season.

Eudora's win was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Ottawa, their win bumped their record up to 8-4.
