Lakeshore is a perfect 6-0 against Springfield since February of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Lakeshore will square off against Springfield at 5:30 p.m. Lakeshore will be strutting in after a win while Springfield will be coming in after a loss.

On Wednesday, Lakeshore was able to grind out a solid victory over Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy, taking the game 10-5. The win made it back-to-back victories for Lakeshore.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Springfield's offense. They came up short against Doyle on Tuesday, falling 10-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Bulldogs were not able to get on the board.

Lakeshore's win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for Springfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.

Everything went Lakeshore's way against Springfield in their previous meeting back in April of 2024, as Lakeshore made off with an 18-6 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lakeshore since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
