Magnolia Heights waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came out on top against the Bayou Academy Colts by a score of 8-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Chiefs also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Magnolia Heights pushed their record up to 26-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Bayou Academy, they moved to 8-5 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
