Soccer Game Preview: McDonough vs. La Plata + How To Watch

McDonough is 0-5 against La Plata since September of 2016 but things could change on Tuesday. The Rams will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against the Warriors at 4:30 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

McDonough is leaving town to face La Plata after disappointing their home crowd in their season opener. The Rams lost 5-2 to Lackey on September 9th.

Meanwhile, La Plata didn't have quite enough to beat Northern on Thursday and fell 2-1. La Plata have struggled against Northern recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

La Plata's goal came courtesy of Carson Will, which was the first he's scored this season.

McDonough came up short against La Plata in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 2-0. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
