Soccer Recap: Morehead Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Morehead was not quite West Stokes' equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 1-0. The shutout was certainly out of character for Morehead, seeing as the last time the team was held without a goal was August 20th.

Morehead has now lost 11 of their last 14 games on the road. That gives them a 4-4 record this season. As for West Stokes, they pushed their record up to 12-1-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Morehead will challenge McMichael at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for West Stokes, they will take on North Surry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
