Volleyball Recap: Wink Comes Up Short

Fans were treated to a battle of the Wildcats on Friday. Wink took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Sulphur Springs.

Wink has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-5 record this season. As for Sulphur Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Coincidentally, Wink and Sulphur Springs will both be playing Maypearl the next time they take the court. Sulphur Springs will head out to face Maypearl at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, while Wink will play them later in the day, at 3:00 p.m.
