Soccer Game Preview: Kaplan vs. Livonia

The Kaplan Pirates and the Livonia Wildcats will round out the year against one another at at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Last Thursday, Kaplan didn't have quite enough to beat Highland Baptist Christian and fell 2-1. The Pirates have struggled against the Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Livonia lost 5-1 to Prairieville last Monday. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while the Hurricanes are ranked 13th).

Kaplan's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Livonia, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4-1.
