Basketball Recap: Baldwin Snags Ninth Victory in Last 11 Games

Baldwin had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 62-51 victory over the Bishop Miege Stags on Tuesday. This was payback for the Bulldogs, who suffered an 83-25 loss the last time these two teams met.

Baldwin's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Cooper Carr, who shot 58% from the field to rack up 26 points and six rebounds. Carr is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last three games he's played. Leo Schoenberger was another key player, going 5-for-12 on his way to 16 points and eight boards.

Baldwin is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. Bishop Miege's defeat was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-15.
